What does ZUMA's mean? ZUMA's stands for Zacharias United Martial Arts.
United Martial Arts means that it's more than just our base style of Taekwondo. Here at ZUMA'S we mix a variety of different styles and methods of martial arts training with our Taekwondo foundation.
Master Zacharias holds the rank of 7th Degree black belt and has been training in the martial arts since 1975. He started instructing in 1981 in Jacksonville, Florida. In the mid 1980's to the early 1990's, while he was in the U.S. military, he instructed military personnel in more practical martial art techniques and hand to hand combat. Over the last 30 years, Master Zacharias has developed a program to help students of all ages by sharing his knowledge and helping others reach their full potential.
